🔧 What You'll Do:
As an Apprentice Electrician, you'll support journeyman electricians with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems. You’ll get hands-on experience with:
Pulling and terminating power and instrument cables
Reading blueprints and electrical schematics
Preventive maintenance on motors, pumps, and generators
Learning the National Electrical Code (NEC), NFPA standards, and local regulations
Your role is essential in keeping industrial systems running smoothly in a challenging but rewarding work environment.
🎯 Requirements for Electrician Apprenticeship:
High school diploma or GED
Valid Alaska Apprentice Electrician License
Enrolled or willing to enroll in the Alaska ABC Apprenticeship Program
Valid driver’s license and clean record
Ability to pass drug screening, background check, and fitness for duty test
