🔧 What You'll Do:

As an Apprentice Electrician, you'll support journeyman electricians with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems. You’ll get hands-on experience with:

  • Pulling and terminating power and instrument cables

  • Reading blueprints and electrical schematics

  • Preventive maintenance on motors, pumps, and generators

  • Learning the National Electrical Code (NEC), NFPA standards, and local regulations

Your role is essential in keeping industrial systems running smoothly in a challenging but rewarding work environment.


🎯 Requirements for Electrician Apprenticeship:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Valid Alaska Apprentice Electrician License

  • Enrolled or willing to enroll in the Alaska ABC Apprenticeship Program

  • Valid driver’s license and clean record

  • Ability to pass drug screening, background check, and fitness for duty test
